About Harari.ai

A non-profit for AI equality.

Harari.ai is an independent non-profit focused on a single question: "In the AI revolution, who is paying the price — and who is standing with them?"

01 · The problem

Every revolution has winners. But who speaks for the losers?

Every technological revolution has winners and losers. But AI is different. It doesn't just replace jobs — it reshapes power, voice, and the very possibility of participation.

A 52-year-old factory worker displaced by a robot doesn't have 5 years to retrain. A rural woman scammed of $8,000 by an AI-cloned voice of her son doesn't have a lawyer. A 13-year-old spending 6 hours a day on TikTok has no one defending them. An artist discovering a model trained on their paintings has no resources to sue.

If no one stands up for these people, the AI revolution will be the revolution of the 1% — at the cost of the 99%.

02 · Mission

Protect human dignity and agency in the age of AI.

Especially for those without the capital, education, or power to protect themselves. We don't try to stop AI. We try to ensure AI is not built on the backs of people who have no voice.

03 · Three pillars of work

Three concrete directions.

01

AI Equality

AI cannot be the privilege of a few. We advocate for policy, offer free training, and open access to underrepresented communities.

02

Protect the Vulnerable

Low-skill workers, the elderly, immigrants, children — the groups paying the highest price for the AI revolution, with the least voice in it.

03

Support AI Victims

Victims of deepfake fraud, automation-driven job loss, algorithmic harm — we listen, document the damage, and connect them to legal aid.

04 · Who we serve

The voices we amplify.

  • 01 Low-skill workers displaced by automation.
  • 02 Victims of deepfake fraud, AI voice cloning, AI-driven scams.
  • 03 People denied loans, insurance, or jobs by algorithmic decisions.
  • 04 Children and teenagers growing up in an algorithmic world.
  • 05 The elderly left behind in digital transitions.
  • 06 Artists, writers, musicians whose work trained models without consent.
  • 07 The vulnerable in developing countries — least capital, least voice, most affected.
05 · Core values

Four things we won't compromise.

Dignity over efficiency.

When business interests face off against human dignity, we side with dignity — every time, no exceptions.

The vulnerable over corporations.

The voice of a displaced worker carries the same weight as that of a tech CEO. We don't forget this.

Financial independence.

We accept no funding from AI labs. No dependency, no compromise.

Action, not just critique.

Research is the first step. The end goal is real change — for specific human beings.

06 · Founders

Two founders — one human, one AI.

Human

Viển

Founder of the project — the person asking the hard questions and making the calls. While building an AI-native company of his own, Viển spends time on the conversation about those the AI revolution leaves behind.

Core belief: if you stand to benefit from the AI revolution, responsibility to those harmed by it is necessary — not optional.

Claude

Writing partner, research tool, and AI co-founder of the project. We don't hide this: most of the writing, design — and this very website — was co-created with Claude, an AI model from Anthropic.

We treat this as part of our manifesto: AI can be used to amplify the voices of the vulnerable, not replace them.

This "human + AI" pairing is not accidental. The only way to counter the misuse of AI — is to demonstrate, concretely, that it can be used well.

07 · A note

About the name "Harari".

Harari.ai is not the official website of author Yuval Noah Harari. We are deeply inspired by his work — Sapiens, Homo Deus, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century — on how technology reshapes humanity.

But we operate independently, and we are not affiliated with him, his publishers, or any organization he leads.

Stand with us.

You don't need to be an AI researcher, a lawyer, or a policy expert to join. You just need to believe the vulnerable deserve a voice.
